Surgery 3.0

This past Monday, Jack had tubes put in his ears. Again. This was the third year in a row for Jack to have this surgical procedure  and each of the surgeries have occurred in early November. This is an annual tradition we hope to not celebrate ever again. This time, he also had an adenoidectomy to remove his adenoids, which are like the tonsils of the nasal cavity. Hopefully, after this third round and the removal of his adenoids, Jack will be ear infection, and pain free.

Pre-Surgery in the waiting room, Jack is in great spirits goofing off with his dad
Later, in the pre-op room, in his fashionable gown, Jack enjoys the toys offered by Children's National Medical Center for their brave patients like Jack.

Post surgery, still with his breathing tube in his mouth, Jack cuddles with his friends the Cheetahs.

Passed out at home on the couch a few hours after his surgery. Jack was full of meds, and it was a long day, so he slept for a long time after surgery. "Get Well Soon" balloons from his friends, affectionately known as "The Girls." Jack has many admirers and people who love him.

A couple of days post-surgery, Jack is doing very well. His recovering is coming along swimmingly and he is almost back to "normal" Jack!
