Jack and Maria were apart for ten whole days recently. It was the longest period of time they had ever been apart from each other, and it may have been a couple days too long (especially for Maria). After being reunited, they did not separate, and both Jack and Skylos wanted to be as close to Maria as possible.
So it was pretty expected that after putting Jack down for bed the first night back, Maria heard a commotion upstairs. She went up, and though did not see Jack in his room, heard sounds coming from hers. Upon walking in, she found a certain twosome had made themselves comfortable.

Jack patted the space next to him (not the side Skylos is occupying obviously) and told Maria there was space for her. Maria managed to corral them back to the appropriate bedroom, but it was still a sweet offer - and if Jack didn't grind his teeth / kick her by sleeping sideways / start a bad habit of letting him sleep in her bed, Maria may have obliged.
