OMG It's here! The First Day of School is here!
For the last week, Jack has been excitedly asking when he was going to get to go to school. "Today?" he would ask with excitement, only to be shot down by me saying "No, not today. Wednesday." It's hard to understand time when you don't grasp the days of the week yet.
Finally, Jack woke up with a purpose this morning, excited to go to his new school. (He was also awakened earlier than normal because Skylos was sleeping on his bed and began to vomit, and Maria had to rush in and take Skylos outside to finish doing whatever he was doing, but not before stripping the top covers from Jack's bed and hurriedly finding another blanket to put on him, thereby waking him up from his otherwise peaceful sleep. But hey, it's never a dull moment over here!)
