It's funny to think of Jack having lifelong friends. But he definitely does, and one of those is Avery. I met Avery's mom one day while she and I were both on maternity leave. We were both walking our dogs pushing our strollers with sleeping infants and thought this person looks like someone I should talk to, and a mommy friendship was born.

Then Avery and her family moved to Paris. But no fear, we were also headed there! Jack and I spent half of our trip (while not eating chocolate croissants) galavanting around Paris with Avery and her mom!

It had been a year since these two friends had been together in rainy Paris, but like all good friendships, these two picked up right where they left off.
There was the requisite playing with cars - only these ones could fly and since their doors were open I think everyone was pretending they were planes.
There was a lunch date at Boundary Stone, showing Avery the hot spots of Bloomingdale.
Of course there was some playground action...
And a dip in "Jack's Pool"!
We can't wait to see Avery and her family again soon! It's a great excuse to head back to Paris!
