Yes, the curls were and are adorable, but they were getting a tad out of control. For proof, see the picture below (a more detailed post regarding Jack's birthday is coming, but I haven't received the pictures yet from Michael, ahem). It was just a wild nest that made Jack look a bit crazed.
So we tamed them, just a little.
It was Jack's first kid specific haircut, not one done by our stylist in our laps after we had had our hair cut. But one administered while he sat in a firetruck, watched Elmo and then got a lollipop. And the kids' hair salon is conveniently located next door to a toy store where he got some trains.
It's good to be the Jack!
