Jack did not accompany his parents to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras. There are a lot of places we have no hesitation in taking Jack, New Orleans at Mardis Gras is not one of them.
At least Jack gets to enjoys the throws we bring back!

This year we decided only to bring back things that light up or any stuffed animals we caught. The beads were just too heavy, and the knot on Maria's head from where she was hit during the ball from some over zealous Krewe member throwing beads proves it.
I didn't feel comfortable at Mardi Gras in New Orleans when I was 18, let alone 2. Seems wise to me.
