Cars! Nemo! Lion King! Little Mermaid!

Ok, last Disney post. I know, like all good things, vacations and trips to Disney World, our series of posts on our trip to Disney must come to end. To conclude our posts, we revisit the resort we stayed at - the Art of Animation Resort. Recently opened in May 2012, this hotel boasts four separate sections each themed after one of Disney's iconic animated movies - "The Little Mermaid", "The Lion King", "Finding Nemo" and "Cars".

The pool was a child's dream come true, bright colors and larger than life under water sea creatures squirting water. We actually spent a fair amount of time at the pool. It was nice to relax and just let Jack have fun running in the sunshine.

In addition to the awesome pool were the characters from these iconic movies stationed around the resort. What kid doesn't want to hang out with cars with large eyes, run through a bone yard with some hyenas or hang out with Rafiki? We may need to actually show Jack these movies now.

Jack did not want to stay still, too much fun playing with large cars! VROOOM!!

Because our boy is obsessed with things that VROOM! we stayed in the Cars family suite. While we realize now that we did not take any pictures of the room, let me assure you that was it completely decorated with characters from "Cars" and even the dressers were shaped like large tool boxes!
