It is still really hot in our fair city and our urban baby needed some pool time. This was our first venture to a DC public pool and I didn't know what exactly to expect. It was great! We were the only ones there until a family visiting from Maine showed up, so we basically had the entire "kid" pool to ourselves. The pool was 2-3 feet deep depending on which end we were on and completely shaded by some large trees. Jack could stand by himself at the 2 ft area and loved splashing his mom. We were in the pool for an entire hour. Jack did not want to leave.
