Chicago!

Checking off another great city, Jack travelled to Chicago this weekend and visited friends and his Nouno and Nouna.  First stop was downtown, where Jack was inducted into the gang and got to hang out with two of his Mom's oldest and dearest friends, Amanda and Ricky.  Then it was off to Naperville to hang out with Jack's Nouna and Nouno and their adorable daughter Evey, who is quite the character.

And he's off!  Prior to take off Jack watches the planes outside.

Riding into the city on the El.  Another mass transit system  mastered.

Finally set free after the plane and train ride!

First stop:  A visit to Millennium Park in downtown Chicago to see the Bean!!!

A walk down Michigan Avenue is not complete without Jack's first visit to the Disney store.    There were toys bought.  Jack didn't realize that he could grab what was on the shelves until Mom  handed him some toys and asked him which he liked better.  From then on out, he liked everything!

We spent a fair amount of time at the playground across the street from our hotel, the Park Hyatt.  Here is Mike and Jack on Father's Day hanging out on the train.

But really the wood chips were the star of the playground!  (Not like we don't have wood chips in DC, but these were Chicago wood chips, midwestern air must have made them taste better)

And then it was on to Naperville!  Jack and Evey "sharing" a toy.

Out at the playground.  Evey sits all nice and clean in her white with adorable bows, meanwhile Jack is enjoying playing in more wood chips.

Yum Wood chips!!!!

Then the babies shared a swing.  I don't know if they will be able to do this for long, both are kind of chunky monkeys.

Thank you to all of our friends we saw and who hosted us.  It was wonderful to see all of you!
