Last night we had to take Jack to the Emergency Room when his fever spiked after a sleepless night the night before and a very rough day on Monday. The scene at DC Children's Hospital is not pretty, but the staff was tremendous from the security guards to the doctors. We were very impressed with the professionalism and care Jack received.
This is a short video of Jack feeling much better while at the hospital still about an hour after the nurse gave him his first dose ever of ibuprofen in the form of children's Advil, which helped reduce his fever right away. He has a double ear infection and an upper respiratory infection and was also given a strong antibiotic.
Today, Jack was feeling a little better but he will be staying home for a few more days. More posts of our little man soon.
