It is hot in DC. It is crazy hot. It was 121 yesterday with the heat index and today is more of the same. Nevertheless, our brave little urban troopers were out with us this morning early at the local U Street Farmer's Market to get our food for the week, and to help beat the intense heat, Maria had the great idea of hooking up Michael's camping fan to the stroller to keep direct air blowing on Jack. He loved it and it kept him much cooler. He was the star of the market, of course, and I think we'll be seeing a lot more strollers in our neighborhood with fans on them soon, as other parents will be replicating Maria's great idea.
