Today, Maria, Michael & Jack's Nouno Demetri ran the Lawyers Have a Heart 10k 5k. The race was changed from a 10k to a 5k because of the intense heat and humidity in DC ... The runners we not happy but we still had fun.

| Jack was happy that his mom was back after the race, but she wasn't gone very long! Maria ran a VERY fast net time of 26:43 for an average pace of 8:37 per mile! That is a really fast time, especially considering that she just delivered a baby 12 weeks ago and was only cleared for running 6 weeks ago post-surgery! Way to go Maria! |

| Jack was happy to see dad too, but only after he changed out of his very sweaty race shirt. Michael ran a respectable time of 20:19 for an average pace of 6:33 per mile, which in the high heat & humidity was ok for Michael. |
