This morning Jack had his first doctor's appointment since being released from the hospital on Saturday. His doctor, Dr. Marjorie McKnight, has her practice at the Washington Hospital Center, which is only about 10 minutes from our condo. We are happy to report that the visit to the doctor went very well, and Jack is gaining weight and his jaundice problem seems to be in the past.

After the visit to Dr. McKnight, we spent the day playing around the house and trying to rest. We read books to Jack, took naps, changed lots & lots of diapers, and had a nice family day together.
Skylos and Jack are still figuring each other out, but they are getting along well. We think Skylos thought when we left with Jack to the doctor's appointment, we wouldn't be returning with him. He was a little disappointed to see Jack come back in with us, but overall, Skylos is being a very good dog and has taken to the new addition to the family like a trooper. We keep a very close eye on Skylos when he is near Jack, but Skylos is finding that cuddling with us and Jack is a lot of fun.
