Jack is now more than 36 hours old and he is doing great! Our little guy is eating just as he should and his bodily functions are working very well. Aside from a few hours of fussiness (and an intense hour of screaming that we could not stop) this morning, he has largely been sleeping or quietly observing the world around him.

Maria was allowed to take a shower today, which made her very happy and she feels much better after the shower. Maria is trying to get as much rest as possible to regain her strength in between Jack's regular feedings, which take place every 2-3 hours.
